Sensex, Nifty trade volatile; Metal, Realty Index gain

Equity tips:- Indices were flat today even as buying in metal and telecom stocks continued amid higher Asian cues and ahead of F&O expiry for December due today.   Among sectors, Nifty Metal, Realty, Media and FMCG were up, while Nifty PSU Bank, Financial Services, Auto and Bank Nifty Index were down today.   At 12:01 PM, the BSE Sensex was trading at 33,933, up 21 points, while the Nifty50 was ruling at 10,500, up 10 points.   Axis Bank's stock dropped 1% after market regulator Sebi ordered the lender to conduct a probe into an alleged data leak.   Shares of Reliance Communications gained for the third consecutive day today, after the company announced its debt resolution plan on Tuesday. Nifty, Sensex hit lifetime highs; TCS gains 1.5%

Equity tips:- Shrugging off the weak cues from most Asian markets, domestic stock market started the holiday-truncated week on a marginally positive note and the benchmark indices notched fresh lifetime highs, led by gains in shares of Tata Consultancy Services and metal and mining companies.   At 9:49 AM, the Nifty50 at 10500 points, up 7.50 points, or 0.1% from previous close after hitting a record high of 10515.10 points. Equity tips:- Equity tips Benchmark indices ended in the green. Nifty50 and Sensex hitting their respective lifetime highs. The gains in the indices were supported by index heavyweights Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services, and State Bank of India.   The indices also ended at their respective record closing highs, with  the Nifty50 touching the 10500 point mark for a brief period for the first time.   The Nifty50 index ended at 10493.00, up 53 points, or 0.5%, while the BSE Sensex closed at 33,940.30, up 184 points or 0.5% from its previous close.   Among specific stocks, shares of Lumax Industries and Lumax Auto  Technologies extended weakness from the early session and fell as much as 7.1% and 5.2%, respectively, following a report that the income tax department had raided group company premises.   About 1,556 shares advanced against 1,175 declining shares on the BSE. Equity tips:- Share indices were higher tracking the strength in global markets and due to gains in index heavyweight ITC, Tata Consultancy Services and Reliance Industries.   Most Asian indices were up tracking overnight gains in US equities, which ended higher, led by banks and energy stocks and robust US GDP data.   At 9:52 AM, BSE Sensex was trading at 33,823, up 67 points and the broader Nifty50 index was ruling at 10,457, up 18 points.   In broader markets, the BSE Midcap and BSE Smallcap indices up 0.40% and 0.65% respectively.   In specific stocks, Shares of Steel Strips Wheels gained 1% after the company bagged an export order worth $2.15 mn.   Shares of SRS rose 2% as the company will be selling its grocery retail operations to Spencer's Retail.   Dilip Buildcon has been awarded two new EPC projects valued at Rs517.81cr by Ircon International. Equity tips:- After hitting lifetime highs in pre-open trade, share indices gave up gains as profit booking kicked in. Equity tips:- Benchmark indices rose for a fourth straight session after BJP secured victories in two key state elections, raising optimism over future reform initiatives. Indices off lows as BJP back in lead in Gujarat

Equity tips:- After opening over 2% lower, share indices were off lows as leads showed that the Bharatiya Janata Party was leading in Gujarat.   Both the Nifty 50 and Sensex were over 1% lower each as equity markets had factored a clear victory for the BJP. At 09:28 AM, the BJP was ahead in 87 of the 172 leads in Gujarat.   In Himachal Pradesh, they were ahead in 29 of the 50 leads available.   At 09:29 AM, the Nifty 50 was at 10214.80, down 118.45 points or 1.1% from its previous close. Equity tips:- Benchmark indices extended gains for the second day after exit polls released late on Thursday indicated that Bharatiya Janata Party is expected to win Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh assembly elections . Equity tips:- Global markets:- Asian markets are trading mixed with Shanghai Composite, down 0.20%, Hang Seng trading flat up 0.01% while Nikkei is trading 0.14% lower. US Markets: Stocks mostly rose on Wednesday, with the Dow ending at a record for a fourth straight session after the Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 0.25 basis points, as had been widely expected. Equity tips:- Benchmark indices opened lower tracking Asian markets which were trading lower ahead of US Federal Reserve's policy outcome later today.   On the economy front, November CPI inflation rising to a 15-month high of 4.88% and industrial output growth slowing to a 3-month low of 2.2% in October.   At 9:43 AM, the BSE Sensex was trading at 33,221, down merely seven points, while the broader Nifty50 was ruling at 10,244, up by 4 points.   Punj Lloyd stock spurted over 11% after the company informed bourses that it has received an order from GAIL (India) for laying, construction of steel pipeline along with associated facilities worth Rs276cr. Equity tips:- SGX Nifty indicating a mildly negative opening for the Indian equities.   Maruti could continue to trend higher as global brokerages rerate the stock.   Crude continues to trend higher, hits fresh two and a half year high.   Global markets:-   Asian markets are trading flat with Shanghai Composite, down 0.29%, Hang Seng up 0.08% while Nikkei is trading 0.02% higher.   US Markets: In yesterday’s trade Dow and the S&P 500 managed to end at record closing highs. Equity tips:- Benchmark indices opened higher tracking positive cues from other Asian equity markets and US equities overnight. The gains on the Nifty50 were led by shares of Axis Bank, UltraTech Cement, Bharti Airtel and State Bank of India. At 9:40 AM, the Nifty50 index was up 52 points, or 0.5% at 10,318 level, while the Sensex was at 33,427 points, up 0.5% or 162 points. IL&FS Engineering stock gained 5% after it won the pipeline-laying contract from GAIL India worth Rs216cr. Equity tips:- Indian stock market extended gains from Thursday, on positive cues from other Asian equities and US markets overnight. Equity tips:-  Domestic benchmark indices opened higher today led by gains in shares of banks, energy and automobiles company, and on positive cues from Asian markets. At 10 AM, the Sensex jumped 181 points or 0.65% at 32,778 while the NSE Nifty gained 58 points or 0.55% to 10,102. The BSE Midcap index and BSE Smallcap index was up by 0.8%. Both these indices outperformed the Sensex. All sectoral indices on the NSE were trading in the green. Sensex, Nifty open weak ahead of RBI policy; metal stocks drag

Equity tips:- Benchmark indices opened lower today as caution prevailed ahead of RBI's monetary policy review outcome and on weak cues from the global markets.   Nifty was weighed down by losses in the metal and commodity companies following a sharp decline in the global copper prices. Equity tips:- Indian equity benchmarks moved higher led by gains in Infosys.
